(Jarosh) Doubek. William and Emily both attended the schools in the area. They were engaged in farming. William died 21 Apr 1958 and Emily died 13 Nov 1977. They are both buried in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Ft. Atkinson, IA. William and Emily were the parents of 4 children: Lois, William, Duane, and James.

Lois Elaine was born at Ft. Atkinson where she attended the area schools graduating from Ft. Atkinson High School in 1948. Lois has worked for many couples in the area doing housework and caring for their children. She also worked at Huber’s General Store in Fort for 38 years before retiring in 1992. Lois never married and resides on the family farm with her two brothers. Her favorite pastime is traveling.

William Richard was born at Ft. Atkinson where he attended the area schools graduating from Ft. Atkinson High School in 1952. William served in the U.S. Army during the years 1956-1958. During his military service, he spent 15 months in Korea. William is engaged in farming and lives on the family farm. He never married.

Duane Roger was at Ft. Atkinson where he attended the area schools graduating from Ft. Atkinson High School in 1954. Duane served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962. During this time he spent 18 months in Germany. Duane married Phyllis Ann Hackman 9 Jun 1966 at Festina, IA. Phyllis was born  at Festina to Edward and Anna Schmitt Hackman. She attended St. Mary’s School at Festina and graduated from St. Luke’s High School, St. Lucas, Fayette Co., IA, 1958. Later she graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of X-ray Technology in Cedar Rapids, IA. She worked as an x-ray technician at St. Joseph Hospital, Phoenix, AZ before their marriage. Duane and Phyllis are the parents of 6 children: Darin, John, Robert, Cheryl, Emily and Eric. After their children were in school Phyllis once again returned to working as an x-ray technician at the area hospitals. She has been a World Book Encyclopedia Representative since 1983. Phyllis also is employed at Luther College, Decorah, IA. Duane is engaged in farming where they live 4 1/2 miles west of Ft. Atkinson. (1) Darin William was born in Decorah,  educated at St. John’s-St. Luke’s Catholic School, St. Lucas, and graduated from Turkey Valley School, Jackson Junction in 1985. He graduated from the Mechanics Program at NEIAC in Mason City, IA in 1987. Darin worked several years as a mechanic and also did semi-truck driving. On 7 Oct 1989 Darin married Susan Marie Hageman (31 Mar 1968) daughter of Melvin and Helen Heying Hageman. She attended St. Aloysius Catholic School in Calmar and graduated from South Winneshiek High School in 1986. She attended classes at NEIAC in Mason City specializing in Business and Medical Assistant, at which time she worked for a doctor in Mason City. In 1993 Darin and Sue returned to the Ft. Atkinson area where Darin is employed for Lynch Livestock as a semi-driver. Sue returned to school at NICC, Calmar, graduating in 1994. She now works at Miller Gunderson Clinic, Elgin, IA.

Elizabeth. (2) John Edward was born in Decorah. He attended St. John’s-St. Luke’s Catholic School, St. Lucas and graduated from Turkey Valley School, Jack-son Junction in 1986. He attended Iowa State University at Ames, IA graduating May 1990 specializing in Business Administration. After graduation he worked for Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati, OH. On 25 Aug 1990 John married Christine Louise Kramer the daughter of Paul and Anna Kramer. Christine attended schools in Fairfield, IA. She is also a graduate of Iowa State University specializing in Interior Decorating. John and Christine lived in Cincinnati for several years until John transferred to Albany, GA. They moved to St. Louis, MO in 1995 where John is attending classes at Washington University to get his masters degree. He is also working at an electronics firm. Christine is a Department Manager at Barnes and Noble Book Store. They have no children. (3) Robert James was born in Decorah. He attended St. John’s-St. Luke's Catholic School in St. Lucas and graduated from Turkey Valley in 1987. Robert attended classes for two years at Iowa Lakes College, Estherville, IA where he specialized in aeronautics and received his pilot's license. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Germany. In Jan 1991 his whole battalion was sent to Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. After returning in Jun 1991 he was transferred to Fort Hood, TX. After his enlistment time, he joined the National Guard and attended the University of Central Texas then transferred to Mankato State University majoring in Law Enforcement. At this time he also joined the ROTC program. Robert graduated in Jun 1995 commissioned as a second lieutenant. He is now on active duty Fort Sill, OK. (4) Cheryl Marie was born in Decorah. She attended St. John’s-St. Luke’s School and graduated from Turkey Valley School in 1991. In May 1995 Cheryl graduated from St. Mary's College, Winona, MN with a B.A. in Psychology. She is now working in Chicago, IL. (5) Emily Ann was born in Decorah . She attended St. John's-St. Luke’s School and Turkey Valley School where she is a junior. (6) Eric Duane , the sixth child of Duane and Phyllis, was born in Decorah. Eric attended St. John’s-St. Luke’s Catholic School and is now attending Turkey Valley School as a sophomore.

James George was the fourth child of William and Emily Einwalter. His education was received at the area school and he graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1960. This was the last graduating class of Fort High after which the school closed and became part of the Turkey Valley District. James served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. During this time, he was stationed in Vietnam for eight months. He has done trucking in the past. He farms on the family farm where he resides with his sister, Lois, and brother, William. James never married.

Edward and Emily and their children and grandchildren are all members of St. John's Catholic Church, Ft. Atkinson.
